Michael R. Sikorski was born in 1968 Tachikawa AFB in Tachikawa, Japan and now resides in Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, PA.  He is a painter that works primarily with washes of acrylic paint to create a rendered or graphic image that is incorporated by vibrant colors.  He is influenced by computer graphics and nature, and tries to incorporate both in his paintings.  Michael is a self-taught artist and received an Associate's Degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and

Michael has exhibited his artwork in group exhibitions including Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Annual, The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University , Parrish Art Museum, The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, and 3rd Street Gallery.   His latest work can be seen in the 2016 winter/spring national publication, Studio Visit Magazine.
